Student missing from private college

He left the hostel on Nov. 4 and did not return

A first year intermediate student, Bala Ganesh Mohan, of Sri Chaitanya College, Nidamanuru, went missing two days ago. His parents lodged a complaint with the police on Monday.

A native of Tadepalligudem in West Godavari district, Mr. Mohan was staying in the college hostel on the city outskirts.

He left the hostel room on November 4, and did not return. After searching in vain in his friends and relatives’ houses, Mohan’s father, Srinivasa Rao, lodged a complaint with the Patamata police.

This was the second such incident reported in the district in the last few days.

A first year polytechnic student K. Vijay has been missing since November 1. He was studying in a college at Nuzvid.

The Machavaram police registered a ‘missing’ case and took up investigation.
