Former Member of Parliament Y. Sivaji said on Saturday that the State Government has been neglecting higher education sector and added that the move would prove detrimental to the interests of students from weaker sections.
Inaugurating the Spoorthi Foundation, launched by a group of philanthropists, here, Dr. Sivaji hoped that the foundation provide opportunities for students from weaker sections and help them to come out in flying colours.
Lella Appireddy, who was behind the foundation, said that the foundation aimed to start coaching classes for students aspiring Eamcet exam.
