Spiritual summer camp at ISKCON

With an aim to promote the rich heritage of our country among the younger generation the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is organising an eight-day residential summer camp.

The residential summer camp for children of age between 9 and 16 years from May 4 to May 11 would be conducted at the ISKCON Temple at Sagar Nagar, according to a statement by president ISKCON Visakhapatnam Samba Das. The activities at the camp would include Yoga, meditation, personality development, prayer, music, dance, craft, philosophy, art, workshop to develop high concentration power, Gita sloka recitation, treasure hunt, drama, painting, storytelling from scriptures like Mahabharata and Ramayana, among others.

ISKCON is also conducting a day summer camp at its Divine Touch School at Siripuram from May 2 to May 20. This camp would be on from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. The activities at the day summer camp would include Yoga, Music, Dance, Painting, story telling, craft, Art, games, magic show, field trips, splash pool and ball pond, among others.
