Sonia for Karimnagar on April 16

The much-awaited visit of AICC president Sonia Gandhi to kick-start election campaign in Telangana has been finalised.

According to sources, Ms. Gandhi will address a public meeting in Karimnagar on April 16. This is the first time that the UPA chairperson will be touring Telangana after she delivered her promise of creating a new Telangana State. Ms. Gandhi may address one more public meeting in Mahabubnagar too.

Party vice-president Rahul Gandhi would go to one or two districts in Telangana on April 13. Sources said Ms.. Gandhi may participate in two meetings in Warangal or Hyderabad.
