Seminar on Telugu art

Vijayawada Art Society, in collaboration with The Cultural Centre of Vijayawada (CCV), on Sunday organised an awareness programme on Telugu Chitrakala (Telugu art). Chairman of Maalakshmi Group Y. Harishchandra Prasad inaugurated the event. Nearly 100 artists from all 13 districts across AP participated in the event. Secretary of Andhra Arts Academy G. Narayana Rao said Vijayawada would soon become the capital of art and culture and organisations like the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada must contribute their mite in this regard.
