The alliance between BJP and TDP has invited instantaneous resentment in Seemandhra region on Sunday. Aspirants from both parties minced no words in expressing their angst.
The resentment was more from TDP workers and aspirants though the BJP leaders made it ample clear that the party should not give in to Telugu Desam.
The TDP senior leaders like Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and Gorantala Bucchaih Chowdary rushed to Hyderabad to communicate their opinion.

Dr. Siva Prasada Rao at Guntur openly suggested the BJP that Narsarapeta was not a suitable constituency for it.
“The party cadre is strongly opposing the allotment of the Narasaraopet constituency to BJP,” he said.
TDP general secretary Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary also rushed to Hyderabad to fight it out with party president N. Chanadrababu Naidu as BJP is tipped to contest from Rajahmundry.

On the other hand, the BJP is also in trouble in selecting the candidate for Rajahmundry City seat.
BJP’s Seemandhra state general secretary Somu Veerraju, who lost deposit in last elections as MP candidate is putting all his `efforts’ to contest from Rajahmundry.
The TDP and BJP leaders from Vijayawada are moving earth and heaven to see that Vijayawada (Central) constituency is allocated to them. BJP city leaders and aspirants met BJP Seemandhra president Kambhampati Haribabu to explain the “possible outcome” if the party succumbed to TDP pressures on central constituency.
TDP cadre staged a protest in Vijayawada demanding the party leadership to field Bonda Umamaheswara Rao for Vijayawada (Central) constituency.
They pointed out that Bonda was working hard for last five years to keep party alive in Central. TDP activists ransacked furniture in the NTR Bhavan at Ongole in protest against the party conceding the Santhanuthalapadu (SC reserved) seat to the BJP.
