According to an official release, a 6 km–long and 1 km–wide parcel of land between Lingayapalem and Nelapadu villages allotted for the construction of 432 flats for Members of the Legislative Council and Assembly and All India Services Officers has been given to the Nagarjuna Constructions. Each of these flats measures 3,500 square feet, totalling nearly 21.67 lakh square feet estimated to cost ₹700 crore. Another parcel for the construction of 1,968 flats for non-gazetted officers each measuring 1,200 sq. ft has been given possession to Larsen and Toubro. This package costs ₹1,100 crore.

Land allotted for 1,056 flats of 1,500 sq. ft and 900 sq. ft for gazetted officers and Class-IV employees respectively at an estimated cost of ₹855 crore was given to the Shapoorji Pallonji Group. Visiting the sites, CRDA Commissioner Ch. Sreedhar said the builders were told to complete construction in 15 months.
