Urging voters to recall the services rendered by the late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy to the State before casting their vote in the ensuing elections, honorary president of the YSRC Y.S. Vijayalakshmi on Tuesday stated that her son Jaganmohan Reddy would bring back Rajanna Rajyam by taking care of all the sections of the society.
“You have seen the nine-year-long blind era of Chandrababu Naidu and five-year-long golden era of Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. I promise you that Jagan will bring back the golden era and you know better what will happen if Mr. Naidu is voted to power again,” she said while addressing a public meeting here. On the second day of her election campaign in East Godavari district, Ms. Vijayalakshmi toured Tallarevu, Ramachandrapuram and Mandapeta .
She inquired the aged people whether they were withdrawing their old age pensions and the students about the fee-reimbursement.

“You know the capabilities of Mr. Naidu, Kiran Kumar Reddy and Chiranjeevi. They never thought about the welfare of people, as they are keen on the same of their own. Don’t fall prey to their tall promises, as they lack credibility. Jagan is committed to his five poll promises and he will fulfil them once the YSRC voted to power in this elections,” Ms. Vijayalakshmi said.
There were whistles and hoots from people when she imitated the siren of the ambulance service in her speech twice. “You can listen to the sound of “kui..kui..kui” very soon, as Jagan is keen on reviving the round-the-clock free ambulance service, launched by the late Rajasekhara Reddy’s government. He will also establish one super speciality hospital in each district and provide 10 lakh houses a year to the poor,” she promised.
