President arrives to a warm welcome

Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy receiving President Pranab Mukherjee at the Hyderabad airport on Monday.

President Pranab Mukherjee arrived to a warm welcome by Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy and his Cabinet colleagues at the Begumpet airport on Monday evening.

He will review the passing out parade of IPS probationers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy on Tuesday and fly back to New Delhi in the afternoon.

The Chief Minister introduced the Ministers and a large number of Congress leaders to Mr. Mukherjee at the tarmac to the airport where the reception was arranged. All of them lined up and waited for their turn to hand over the bouquets to the VVIP. Congress MLA Gade Venkat Reddy was said to have told Mr. Mukherjee to save integrated State.

The Speaker, N. Manohar, Chairman of Legislative Council A. Chakrapani, former Chief Minister N. Bhaskara Rao and AP Congress Committee president Botcha Satyanarayana were present.
