Photography contest on ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’

The Global Hindu Heritage Foundation (GHHF) and Savetemples.org together on Wednesday announced a photography contest on ‘Godavari Pushkaralu’ to be celebrated between July 14 and 25. The first, second and third prizes will get cash awards of Rs. 50,000, Rs. 30,000 and Rs. 25,000, respectively, apart from 10 consolation prizes with Rs. 5,000 each and citations.

In a press release, ‘Ghazal’ Srinivas, Brand Ambassador for the contest, said the photographs should reflect the glory of the Godavari, activities of devotees at temples and around the ‘Pushkar’ ghats on the banks of the river. Each photographer can send up to 10 pictures, together with his/her biodata, email id, phone number and application form that is available atwww.savetemples.organd an undertaking. Entries should be submitted on or before August 5 with the application form, undertaking, a DVD and proof of identity to GHHF & Savetemples.org, 6-3-629/2, A2, Kabir Nivas, Anand Nagar, Khairatabad, Hyderabad, Telangana. Interested should submit their online entry through the form available onwww. savetemples.orgon or before June 30, said Foundation Chairman Prof. V. Prakasarao.
