Paritala Ravi’s services recalled

Speaker Kodela Sivaprasada Rao on Saturday hailed slain TDP leader Paritala Ravindra as a leader who crossed regional boundaries in becoming dear to one and all. “He is a leader who has blurred the regional boundaries which often confine a leader’s following,” said Dr Sivaprasada Rao. On the other hand actor Vivek Oberoi who played the role of 'Paritala Ravi' in the movie 'Rakta Charitra', visited Paritala Ravi's memorial at Venkatapuram in Anantapur and adopted Muttavakuntla of Kanaganapalli mandal.

Several thousands of people attended the programme at Venkatapuram, all the TDP legislators from the district with the exception of JC brothers were present.
