Over 380 papers presented at ‘Ignite 2014’

A technical symposium, ‘Ignite 2014’, was organised at G. Pullaiah College of Engineering and Technology here on Wednesday. Nearly 380 technical papers were presented at the meet, chairman of the college G. Mohan Kumar said.

Out of them, 30 were selected from each branch giving importance to originality, innovation and technology for common man needs.

Students set up stalls exhibiting working models and concepts. Senior general manager of BSNL K. Manohar, who attended the function as chief guest, said one has to keep track of technology on a day to day basis. Convener of the symposium Nagaraja Rao, principal Nageswara Rao and others were present.
