: Justice C. Kodandaram of Hyderabad High Court on Tuesday made it clear that outsiders should not be allowed to meddle in the affairs of University of Hyderabad to upset the academic atmosphere there.

These far reaching interim orders on the eve of examinations were passed in response to a writ petition filed by Prof.Gali Vinod Kumar. He sought a direction to UoH to take steps to restore peace, harmony, law and order and academic atmosphere on the campus. In a miscellaneous petition, he said that the role of outsiders must be restricted so that the campus atmosphere is not vitiated.

He sought a direction to university authorities especially Vice-Chancellor, and the commissioner of police to take steps to see that outsiders, persons from political parties and associations are prevented from giving provocative speeches at the university to spoil the academic atmosphere on the campus.
