The TRS legislator T Harish Rao has demanded that the Telangana Congress leaders should obstruct the visit of Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to the Telangana region during the ‘Rachabanda’ programme.
Alleging that the Chief Minister had been obstructing the formation of separate Telangana State and betraying the region on all fronts, he said that the Telangana Congress leaders would be treated as ‘traitors’ of Telangana if they invite and allow the Chief Minister to tour the Telangana region. “How would the Telangana Congress leaders allow the Telangana traitor (Mr Kiran ) to the region, he questioned.
Talking to newsmen here on Sunday, Mr Harish Rao asked “what moral right does Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy has to tour the Telangana region when he vehemently opposed the bifurcation of State and denied allocation of funds”. He alleged that the Chief Minister had allocated Rs 5,800 crore to his Chittoor district and additional government medical college when six Telangana districts were denied of a medical college.

Karimnagar legislator Gangula Kamalakar flayed the Telangana TDP leaders for stating that they would not attend the all-party on the Telangana statehood issue and insulting the people of the region. He called upon the Telangana TDP leaders to do self-introspection and come out of the integrationist party and strive for the formation of separate Telangana State. TRS leaders R Satyanarayana, S Ramalinga Reddy, S Ravinder Singh and others were also present.
