Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee President N. Raghuveera Reddy on Friday said former PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana was suspended from party for ‘anti-party’ activities.
Speaking to mediapersons Mr Reddy said his suspension will not have any impact on the Congress.
The PCC president, who also addressed party workers meeting, sought a CBI probe into TDP MLA A. Revanth Reddy's episode and has challenged AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to face the inquiry if he really did not offer kickbacks in Telangana MLC elections.

He said Mr. Revanth Reddy could not escape from the bribery charges.
"Former BJP president Bangaru Lakshman was sent to jail after he was caught accepting Rs.1 lakh as bribe. The same rule should be applied in this case and guilty should be punished," he argued.

Following suspension of Mr. Satyanarayana by the party high command, DCC president Pilla Vijaya Kumar and APCC general secretary Yadla Ramana Murty resigned from the primary membership of the party and decided to sail with Mr. Satyanarayana.
A large number of his supporters would follow suit as Mr. Satyanarayana and his family members (former MP Botsa Jhansi Lakshmi, former MLAs Botsa Appala Narasaiah and Baddukonda Appala Naidu) have decided to join YSRCP in the presence of Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad on June 7, according to party sources.
Meanwhile, PCC president N. Raghuveera Reddy has appointed Yadla Adiraju, the party spokesperson and close confidant of Mr. Satyanarayana, as the DCC president.
No office for Congress
But the DCC chief has no office because the district Congress office that was located on the ground floor of Satya Lodge was owned by Botcha family and it has been closed now.
Botcha Satyanarayana along with his family members will join YSRC in Hyderabad tomorrow
