The Nellore district administration, Krishnapatnam Port and various voluntary organisations, including the walkers’ associations have come together to organise the ‘Nellore 5K Run’ at the ACSR Stadium here on October 11. The run is expected to involve people and students in large numbers.
The organisers have made grand plans to make the Nellore run a big success considering the fact that the number of health conscious people has steadily increased over the years. The organisers released T-shirts in connection with run at a function here on Thursday which was attended by Krishnapatnam Port CEO Anil Yendluri and spokesperson for the 5K Run Kali Konduri. Mr. Anil said the run was aimed at creating health awareness among people.
