NCC training centre to come up at Orvakal

An NCC training centre will be set up in Orvakal in Kurnool district, Air Commodore N.N. Reddy, Deputy Director-General of NCC Directorate of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, said while inspecting the NCC Group headquarters in Kurnool on Thursday.

NCC cadets gave him a guard of honour at the group office on arrival.

Air Commodore N.N. Reddy said a national integration camp would be conducted in Rayalaseema.

He lauded Kurnool NCC Group for harnessing youth power.

He reviewed the NCC expansion plans in Kurnool and Anantapur. Later the Deputy Director-General left for Anantapur for inspecting the NCC office there on Friday, said Training Officer of the NCC Group headquarters Lt. Col. Sanjay Gupta.
