Naidu to invite Governor, KCR today

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N.Chandrababu Naidu will personally call on the Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan and Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday to invite them for the foundation stone laying ceremony of AP capital, Amravati.

According to official sources, Mr. Naidu will meet the Governor at Raj Bhavan at 5 p.m. The AP Chief Minister, who was in New Delhi earlier this week to invite the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, also met the Governor. Mr. Naidu had orally invited him for the programme and promised to meet him in Hyderabad to give the invitation.

It is understood that the Governor would reach Vijayawada on October 22 morning, so that he is present when the Prime Minister arrives.

On the other hand, keeping his promise, Mr. Naidu will meet Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao at his residence to personally invite him for the function. It is learnt that he will reach the Begumpet camp office of the Chief Minister after his meeting with the Governor.
