Minister for Information and Public Relations D.K.Aruna said that people of Seemandhra did not have any misgivings or apprehensions and bifurcation of the State will not drive a wedge between Telugu people.
Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, the Minister appealed to the MPs from Seemandhra region to co-operate for smooth division of the State. She also called for unconditional merger of Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) with the Congress.
The Minister said that justice will be done in sharing of irrigation water, power, employment and other sectors as per the suggestions of intellectuals and experts and to this effect a committee was also being constituted.

“TRS leaders claim that their sole aim is to achieve separate statehood for Telangana region. Now that the Congress party is spearheading that process they will have no agenda left,” she said.
‘Gadwal as headquarters’
The Minister wanted Mahabubnagar district to be divided into two districts with the new one having Gadwal town as headquarters which got all required facilities after the formation of Telangana State.

The Minister was hopeful that the entire process of division of the State into two Telugu speaking States would be completed by next March.
The Minister appealed to all sections of people and all political parties of Telangana to extend help to reconstruction of the new born State.
