An employee of AP Transco, Koteswara Rao (46) of Tamballapalle mandal was crushed to death when his motorbike was mowded down by a speeding lorry at the local petrol bunk cross at Gurramkonda mandal headquarters in the district on Friday.
The Gurramkonda police said that while he was on his way to workstation, the tragedy occurred and the man was crushed to death on the spot. The lorry was seized and its driver arrested. Sending the body for autopsy to Madanapalle area hospital, the police registered a case.
