Lok Satta to kick-start poll campaign today

The Lok Satta Party (LSP) is kicking off its general election campaign from Kukatpally here on Sunday by holding a public meeting ‘Eela Bheri’ (whistle).

Party national president Jayaprakash Narayan, party’s lone MLA from Kukatpally’s constituency and the State president Katari Srinivasa Rao and other top leaders would take part in the meeting at 3 p.m. at Ramya Grounds in KPHB Colony.

The party would go to polls once again on the plank of governance, decentralisation of power, eradication of corruption and emphasis on quality education, healthcare and livelihood opportunities to all.

“People should understand that politics is for them to realise their aspirations and not a game to be watched from a distance,” he said.
