Last date for EdCET applications extended

The last date for submitting applications for the Education Common Entrance Test (EdCET) 2014 has been extended from April 24 to April 30 without fine and up to May 6 with a fine of Rs. 500.

The last date was extended following representations from candidates from different districts of the State, Convenor of EdCET 2014 Nimma Venkata Rao said on Thursday.

The entrance test was advanced from June 2 to May 30 and will be held in 42 centres all over Andhra Pradesh. Applications have to be sent online only and the EdCET websites have all the details. The number of applications received so far was 1,40,540, Prof. Venkata Rao added.
