The AP unit of the Bharatiya Janta Kisan Morcha, the farmers’ wing of the BJP, has accused the government of keeping the Centre in the dark with regard to construction of capital and Polavaram project.
Morcha general secretary Y. Malakondaiah alleged that the government had failed to send documents on the capital and Polavaram project to the Centre, the reason why the latter failed to allocate sufficient funds for those projects. “Though the government has undertaken land pooling, it has not informed the Centre in writing. How can we expect the Centre to allocate funds?” he asked.
