Kiran’s Indiramma Baata in Nellore from today

Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy inspecting arrangements for Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy’s tour to Nellore, on Sunday.

Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will tour Nellore district for three days from Monday as part of Indiramma Baata programme.

He will participate in several development and welfare schemes during the visit.

On day one of his visit, the Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for Somasila High Level Canal lift scheme to provide irrigation and drinking water in six drought-prone mandals in the district.

He will launch works for construction of agriculture polytechnic building, drinking water scheme, flood drainage scheme, Podalakuru-Somasila road and restoration of Kommaleru drainage, besides addressing a public meeting and having lunch with tribal welfare hostel students.

After lunch, he will inaugurate the facilities created in a temple at Somasila, lay stone for social welfare residential school at Adurupalli and protected drinking water scheme for Chejerla.

In the evening, he will participate in a revenue sadassu at Kollappa Naidupalli, interact with irrigation engineers at Kandaleru reservoir and inaugurate buildings of veterinary polytechnic and hostels at Rapuru.

In the night, he will inaugurate integrated welfare hostel complex and stay put there with the students in the night. He will also distribute assets to beneficiaries of different schemes.
