KCR arrives on a two-day pilgrimage to Tirumala

Chief Minister of Telangana K. Chandrasekhar Rao arrived to a rousing reception at the Tirupati airport on Sunday.

He is on a two-day pilgrimage to the temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala.

On his arrival by a special flight at Renigunta, Mr. Rao was extended a formal welcome by Sub-Collector R. Mahesh Kumar and MCT Commissioner V. Vijay Rama Raju.

The newly-elected YSRCP representatives, led by N. Reddeppa (Chittoor MP-elect) and comprising those elected from the district to the Assembly such as Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, B. Karunakar Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy, K. Narayanaswamy, Nawaz Basha, K. Adimoolam, and Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, made a beeline to receive him.

Mr. Rao reached Tirumala by road, where he was accorded a ceremonial reception by TTD officials led by Executive Officer Anil Kumar Singhal and Joint Executive Officer K.S. Sreenivasa Raju.

Break darshan

Mr. Rao would have darshan of the presiding deity during the VIP break on Monday morning.
