Judge rejects ACB contention

Pronouncing the order, Justice Raja Elango of Hyderabad High Court observed the sentence in such cases was less than seven years and the material needed by the prosecution was already in the custody of the ACB.

The judge rejected the contention of the ACB that they are waiting for FSL report and hence bail may not be granted. The judge reminded that in such scientific investigation no one can interfere. No prejudice will be caused for further investigation. Revanth Reddy, the first accused shall not leave his Kodangal constituency from where he is elected. He will have to come to the investigation office when asked. Bishop Sebastian Harry and Udayasimha, the other accused have to appear before the investigating agency every day between 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

All the accused are directed to deposit their passports and have to produce bond for Rs. 5 lakh with one surety.
