More than four years after its formation, Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan on Tuesday released the party’s “Manifesto Vision Document” for Andhra Pradesh with a seven-point ideology and several promises.
The six-page document, which was released by Mr. Pawan Kalyan after offering special prayers at the Mavullamma temple in Bhimavaram, details 12 promises and seven ideologies.
The promises are 33% political reservation for women, free LPG cylinders for homemakers, a benefit of ₹2,500 to ₹3,500 cash to homemakers in place of ration, 5% increase in reservation for BCs, reservation for BCs in legislative bodies, reservation for Kapus through Schedule 9, amicable solution to the issue of classification of SCs, among others.

Corporation for the economically weaker sections among unreserved categories, hostels for students belonging to economically weaker sections among unreserved categories, implementation of Sachar Committee recommendations for development of Muslims, setting up of government-run old-age homes, and scrapping of the Contributory Pension Scheme of government employees.
Mr. Kalyan in the vision document said that though the promises are challenging, he believes that there would be a way to fulfil them if there is a will.
He said the promises are part of the party’s actual manifesto that would be released soon.

Mr. Kalyan, in the document, showered high praise on Seshendra Sarma and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar.
