YSR Congress district president N. Prasannakumar Reddy has criticised the TDP government, saying that the ‘Janmabhoomi-MaaVooru’ programme was just an eye-wash as it was far away from addressing the real concerns of people in villages and urban centres.
He alleged that much bias and partisan attitude were being witnessed when it came to distribution of pensions and other benefits even as thousands of beneficiaries were being denied of their due sans any valid reason.
Sarvepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was deceiving farmers without fulfilling his poll promise of waiving farm loans. On the other hand, he said, bankers were going ahead with auctions and paper announcements for recovery of loans with the government not giving any orders regarding loan waiver.
