In a shocking incident, a just born female baby was found dead at Markapur in Prakasam District on Tuesday. Markapur Sub-Inspector Y. Srihari said that on a tip off, the body of the infant wrapped in a towel was recovered from a dust bin in the 10th ward.
Registering a case under IPC section 338, the Markapur police began a frantic search for the child's mother who might be living in the vicinity.
