YSR Congress president and Opposition leader Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday called upon the party leaders and cadres to highlight the failures of the TDP government in the State by reaching out to people.
Mr. Reddy, who was here to hold Assembly constituency-wise meetings on Friday and Saturday, said the TDP government had failed on many fronts and people were disillusioned with the performance of the government.
Usually any ordinary government took two years to get a bad name but the TDP government could not enjoy the euphoria even for six months.

A cross-section of public was bringing pressure on the YSR Congress to fight against the misdeeds and anti-public activities of the government.
Mr. Jaganmohan Reddy said the TDP government was a big failure on the front of debt-waiver.
By promising false promises, the TDP came to power. Had the YSRC compromised on ethics, it could have also captured power, he said.

He accused Mr. Naidu of making a false promise to voters on the eve of election to waive loans but grossly failed to honour it after coming to power. Now, the government was trying to throw the blame on the banks and Reserve Bank of India.
But people had realised now the gimmick played by the TDP supremo, he said.He blamed a section of the media also for aiding the TDP to come to power.
He said peculiar conditions prevailed in many parts of the State where people were looking at the YSRC for help. Mr. JaganmohanReddy said that he wanted the cadres and leaders to get alerted to the mood of the public.
