Kalyan in the eye of storm

Meanwhile, the lawyers took offence at the snide remarks made by Jana Sena Party(JSP) chief Pawan Kalyan who had sarcastically advised CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to establish the High Court in Kurnool and move the capital city to Pulivendula in Kadapa district, the hometown of Mr. Jagan.

The lawyers and students demanded an apology from the actor-turned-politician. “Mr. Kalyan extended support when Kurnool lawyers met with him. Mocking Rayalaseema people is deplorable,” said a lawyer.

Expressing discontent, the lawyers made an effigy of Mr. Kalyan and took out a procession in the city.
