Governor E.S.L.Narasimhan will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday morning to brief him about the situation in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana States. Sources said Mr. Narasimhan, who is in New Delhi, is scheduled to call on the Prime Minister at 11 a.m. and submit a report on the situation in the two States. Issues that are bothering Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which had necessitated the Governor’s intervention is recent times are likely to figure in the meeting, the sources added. Contentious issues such as the controversy over conduct of common Intermediate examination with Telangana State insisting on holding its own exam, dispute on sharing river water and generation of power from the Srisailam irrigation project is likely to form part of the report, sources said.
