Entries sought for essay competition in physics

‘National Competition on Essay Writing in Physics (NCEWP),’ being held by the Indian Association of Physics Teachers every year is now open to students as well as teachers in two categories. In category A, students of higher secondary/junior college, undergraduate and postgraduate are eligible and in Category B, teachers of higher secondary/junior college, undergraduate and postgraduate are eligible. Topics for essays are ‘From linear physics to non-linear nature, a challenging journey (or) ‘Physics –a fundamental science, full of applied flavour”.

The participants have to send neatly typed essays on one of the topics on one side of the A4 size paper expressing scientific ideas in a comprehensive, consistent and logical way, as required in a scientific report or a research paper. E-Mail the entries in pdf format to K.N. Joshipura, coordinator, NCEWP-2014 knjoshipura22@gmail.com through heads of institutions mentioning the categories by June 15.
