ED case: Jagan, Vijay Sai appear in court

The YSR Congress party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy and his financial advisor V. Vijay Sai Reddy appeared in a metropolitan criminal court here on Saturday in a quid-pro-quo case registered under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) by the Directorate of Enforcement. The court posted the next hearing in the case to June 3 after directing the two accused to furnish personal surety bonds for Rs. 20,000 each.

The Enforcement Directorate filed a charge-sheet after investigating the case based on the charge-sheet filed by the CBI in one of the aspects of 11 quid pro quo cases and attached fixed deposits worth Rs. 34.66 crore belonging to Jagati Publications.
