18 inspectors transferred in city late on Monday night

The much anticipated buzz at various police stations in the city was conspicuously missing on Tuesday, as many circle inspectors who have either been transferred or given new postings, seemed to have preferred not to take charge of their new assignments ahead of lunar eclipse on Wednesday.

CI J. Murali Krishna, working in Traffic-II police station, was posted to Two Town police station. Y. Balaji was transferred to Bhavanipuram station and V. Pavan Kishore was posted to Ibrahimpatnam station, vice D. Chawan who was transferred to traffic police station.
