The release date of the much-awaited period flick Baahubali is finally out. Putting all speculations to rest, the movie’s director S.S. Rajamouli himself released a video on the social media, announcing that the first part will hit the screens on May 15.
The director went a step ahead and even gave updates about the shoot. He said that while the dubbing was complete, there was just one song to wrap up. In the run up to its release, the unit is planning an aggressive marketing and promotion of the movie in the next few weeks.
A comedy thriller with an ‘A’ certificate
Sunny Leone stun ayipoye sanna jaji nene le... (my beauty will stun even Sunny Leone), goes the lyric of this song, the stills of which were released recently. One of the photographs has actor Sampoornesh Babu sitting alongside actor Jennifer, daughter of Chennai-based dance-master Chinna, as the song rolls on. That’s the item song, as director Srinivas unabashedly puts it, from his third film, which has been titled Where is Vidya Balan? , after Katha starring Genelia and Okkadine with Nara Rohit.

Does it have too many fights that leave blood stains all over the place? “Not too many, but actually a lot less than many other movies. And there are no double-meaning dialogues too,” he says, stifling a laugh. On Thursday, the film passed the Censors with a pure ‘A’ certificate and is all set to release in the second or the third week of March, says Srinivas.
