Andhra Pradesh: Current booking of arjitha seva tickets to resume from today

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) will resume issuing arjitha seva tickets under current booking from March 31.

The system, scrapped in March 2020 after the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, will be restored after a gap of two years.

Devoteee seeking to book the seva tickets must enrol their names and mobile numbers at the TTD CRO general office on the previous day between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The tickets will be provided under the automated randomised lucky dip system.

Those who are allotted the tickets will be intimated by SMS following which they shall be asked to remit the cost of the seva at the bank counters.

While a photocopy of the original Aadhaar card is mandatory for citizens, NRIs should produce a photocopy of their passport at the time of their enrolment.

The TTD said that those who have been allotted seva tickets cannot take part in the dip for the next six months.

It also announced that Kalyanotsava tickets will be provided to newlyweds on submission of wedding card and original photo identity card on a first-come-first-serve basis provided they come for darshan within a week of their marriage.

Likewise, the TTD has decided to allow devotees for Angapradakshinam from March 31 and said that the regulations that existed during pre-COVID-19 times shall apply. Around 750 tokens will be issued daily at the TTD’s Pilgrim Amenities Complex (PAC-I).
