Accusing the Andhra Pradesh government of pushing the State into administrative chaos, BJP on Monday urged Governor E S L Narasimhan to convene a special session of the State Assembly to discuss about various issues affecting the common man.

“People of the State have been suffering from various problems like price rise in essential commodities and petroleum products and agitation for separate Telangana has further added to their owes,” BJP spokesperson NVSS Prabhakar told reporters in Hyderabad.

The people of the State have given the mandate to the Congress for forming pro-people policies and implementing welfare programmes but Kiran Kumar Reddy government failed to even convene the monsoon session to discuss the welfare programmes, he said.
