Congress seeks unconditional apology from TDP

The Congress jaitrayatra meeting held at this historic town on Friday evening demanded an unconditional apology from TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu for the construction of a tomb for AICC president Sonia Gandhi by his party activists at Tirupati.

In a unanimous resolution that was read out by the MLC, P. Sudhakar Reddy at the end of the meeting, warned the Seemandhra parties including TDP and YSR Congress against several repercussions if they did not desist from such heinous acts in their agitations against the decision on Telangana.

The resolution warned them that people of Telangana would teach a fitting lesson to them if they resorted to unleashing insults and insinuations on Sonia Gandhi. Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha, Ministers K. Jana Reddy, Baswaraj Saraiah, D. Sreedhar Babu, Prasadkumar, Sunitha Lakshma Reddy, D.K. Aruna, Uttam Kumar Reddy, Ramreddi Venkat Reddy, MPs Madhu Goud Yaskhi, Ponnam Prabhakar, K. Rajagopal Reddy, Siricilla Rajaiah, Suresh Shetkar and V. Hanmanth Rao and several MLCs and MLAs spoke at the meeting.
