CM to submit report on Swachh Bharat Mission

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Monday evening and submit the report of the Sub-Group of Chief Ministers on Swachh Bharat Mission, which was constituted under NITI Aayog.

While Mr. Naidu is convenor of the Sub-Group, Chief Ministers of Bihar, Delhi, Haryana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Mizoram, Sikkim, West Bengal and Uttarakhand are members and CEO NITI Aayog is the Coordinator.

The Sub-Group was asked to examine financial requirements for comprehensive implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) and suggest measures for meeting budgetary needs.

Mr. Naidu, who is leaving here for Delhi on Monday, will attend the first meeting of national Sagarmala Apex Committee in the morning. Later, he will interact with Chairman of Inland Waterways Authority at AP Bhavan before meeting Prime Minister.

Mr. Naidu is expected to return to Vijayawada on Monday night.
