Hundreds of school students along with the district officials, took part in a rally taken out on the arterial Trunk Road here on Tuesday, as part of the Children’s Day celebrations.
The day marked the launch of the Child Rights Week activities which would be held till November 20. The rally witnessed students holding placards and raising slogans in support of protection of educational rights of children.
Speaking on the occasion, Joint Collector A.Md. Intiyaz said that the society would achieve prosperity and equality only when all the children would get an opportunity to good education.
