‘Centre will solve drought problem’

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is all set to chalk out strategies at different levels to address the drought situation in Rayalaseema region.

The meeting of the party’s national general secretary V. Ram Madhav with leaders of the region here on Thursday came as the first step in this direction.

The message sought to be conveyed was that the Union government was seriously initiating steps to address the drought.

Former Union Minister D. Purandeswariasked the party activists to act as a bridge between the people and the government. BJP State president K. Haribabu spoke at the meeting
