HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who held a meeting with AP State Council for Higher Education Chairman Venugopala Reddy and other officials on Friday, later reviewed the implementation of the biometric attendance system in the universities and affiliated colleges. He directed that all the colleges should link the biometric system with Aadhaar and necessary measures should be initiated.He said the biometric system would also be synchronised with fee reimbursement and a meeting on the subject would be held with the Social Welfare Minister at Vijayawada on May 26.
