Returning officers in Telangana are bracing for heavy rush on Wednesday, the last date for filing of nominations for the Assembly and Parliament seats.
A large number of candidates are likely to file their papers on Wednesday as it happens to be an auspicious day -- particularly 3 p.m. is considered very lucky. Major political parties finalised the list of candidates on Tuesday night leaving the candidates no option, but to file their nominations on the last day.
