A.P. student goes missing in U.S.

: YSR Congress Whip in Parliament Y.V. Subba Reddy on Tuesday sought the intervention of External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj to locate 17-year-old Srivarnika Uma Varda, for whom Montgomery County police in the US had been searching since Tuesday last.

The MP, in a letter to the Union Minister, urged her to direct Indian Embassy officials to send some person to Alabama state to help locate the girl. Those having information about the girl could contact him on 09849000916, the MP said, adding the girl’'s father Srihari Varada, who hailed from his constituency, could be reached on 09849448905.
