Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Legislative Council were adjourned sine die on Thursday after both the Houses adopted Appropriation Bills pertaining to essential expenditure for a part of the financial year 2014-15 and supplementary estimates for 2013-14.
The AP Appropriation (vote-on-account) Bill, 2014 authorises the government to appropriate Rs.79,469.83 crore in advance in respect of the essential expenditure for a part of the financial year 2014-15 and AP Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2014, authorises the government to appropriate Rs.11327.88 crore for supplementary estimates for 2013-14.

Earlier, Speaker N. Manohar adjourned the Assembly for close to three hours when TRS, Telangana TDP and a Telangana Congress member gathered in front of the Speaker’s podium and raised pro-Telangana slogans.
The MIM members too moved into the well after their adjournment notice on power and water problems was rejected.
When the House re-assembled after the introduction of AP Reorganisation Bill in Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy moved the two Bills which were put to vote and passed without any discussion, amid a din by TRS members, who again stood near the podium and raised slogans. The banners held by them read: ‘Goodbye Andhra Pradesh Assembly, Welcome to Telangana Assembly’.

Soon after the House was adjourned sine die, a beaming T. Harish Rao (TRS) was seen exchanging pleasantries with some Seemandhra Ministers.
In the Legislative Council, the Andhra Pradesh Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (Amendment) Bill, 2013 Bill and Appropriation Bills moved by Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy were passed without any discussion.
