Education Minister Audimulapu Suresh on Friday said in view of the scorching summer days, it was decided to run half-day schools from April 4.
In a statement, he said schools will operate from 7.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. to spare the children of the summer woes.
Students of Class 10 will write their Board examinations from April 27, while the Intermediate Public Examinations will start from May 6, he informed.
