Rajya Sabha member K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao has termed allegations of his involvement in the scam “unfortunate”. He said he did not receive notice from any U.S. investigative agency.

“I can explain my view only after I receive the notices. How can I react based on a newspaper report,” he said speaking to a television channel in Delhi.

Meanwhile, Lok Satta Party national president Jayaprakash Narayan wanted the CBI to interact closely with the FBI, which unearthed the scam.
