Projects worth ₹28,000 cr. under way in capital, says CRDA chief

The Amaravati Run jointly organised by the AP-Capital Region Development Authority (AP-CRDA) and the Amaravati Runners in the capital region evoked an impressive response. A large number of youth, including the students of VIT-AP University, Loyola College and other institutions, members of walkers’ associations and officers of the CRDA and Amaravati Development Corporation were among those who took part in the event.

Objective

It was aimed at highlighting the development works in Amaravati and the farmers’ gesture of giving lands for the construction of the capital city.

Inaugurating the run at the CRDA project office in Rayapudi, Tadikonda MLA Tenali Sravan Kumar said Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was giving his best for the development of Andhra Pradesh, particularly for the construction of Amaravati and people needed to extend their cooperation.

CRDA Commissioner Cherukuri Sreedhar said the projects costing about ₹28,000 crore were under way in Amaravati as per the Chief Minister’s vision and people were expected to contribute their might for development of the State, including what is emerging as a world-class capital.
