Aadhaar linkage with voter ID cards

The Election Commission of India has issued orders for linkage of Aadhaar with voter ID cards. Voters have to provide voter ID number and Aadhaar number in the respective polling booths to enable the EC publish correct voters’ list in future. AP Chief Electoral Officer Vara Prasad held a video conference with Srikakulam Collector P. Lakshmi Nrusimham asking him to make necessary arrangements for the linkage. People can seek clarifications by dialling 1950 toll free number, according to a release from the Collector.
